TV Interview

Channel 2 caught Mary Ann Littlejohn for a brief interview in the Creative Force exhibit last Thursday at International Quilt Festival.  You probably weren’t watching television that night, but you can still view it at http://www.click2houston.com/video/25638601/index.html

Fishing Stories

Laney and Wallace Morgan have been fishing in Louisiana this past week.  Maybe I can get him to share about that.

Is anybody else doing anything they would like to tell us about?

Bill: Reunion Photos & Email Addresses

Bill sent an email earlier (7/6/2009) inviting us to view his (or Janice Guice's) reunion photos. If you did not get that email please let him know at whe100@yahoo.com. Some of the email addresses did not work and he is working on correcting them.

The photos can be viewed here.

Wallace: Clarification of Mrs. Hodges Name

Wallace - Point of clarification- Mary Martha ran into Mrs. Hodges this afternoon at Kroger in Starkville. Mrs. Hodges says her name is and was Methyl. Her husband was Lethal and they were Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Hodges. Thus the mystery of the name errors in annuals of our era is solved.

Mary Ann - I have changed her name in the PowerPoint Slide Show.

Slideshow from the Reunion

The slideshow of the old and annual photos is now ready for download and viewing at your leisure. I published it on my website with a unique URL that isn't link to any buttons on the home page. You will need to click on www.malittlejohn.com/SHS or copy and past this link.

This is a large file - 29KB. If you are on dial-up, you may want to do this when you don't need your computer for awhile. You do not need PowerPoint to view the show. It should display automatically.

Slideshow Posts- too large??

Please let me know if you are not on high speed internet and these slideshow posts take too long to load. I will remove them and just put a link to them in my web albums.

We want to make this user friendly for all.

Carl Ralph Rushing's Harbor-Belle Nandina

I've added a link in the sidebar for Carl Ralph's Harbor-Belle Nandina and other information on his website. It is my understanding that this particular Nandina is great for shade.

Perhaps he will tell us more about his various plant introductions and how this came about.

This is Your Blog

I hope everyone is hope safe and sound after our wonderful reunion last week. This was the best one ever. I enjoyed visiting with you all and am so proud of the many, many accomplishments of our classmates. There wasn't enough time to visit long enough with everyone.

I believe it was Audrey who mentioned wanting a blog so we continue keeping up with each other more easily. I've tried to make the blog more user friendly. A button has been added at the top right for you to subscribe to the blog. If you type in your email address, you will be notified when there is any new content to read.

At the present time, only Pepper, Bill and I can post messages. Any of you can post comments and in that way get conversations going. If it becomes popular enough, we can add others interested in posting. If you want something posted, just send it to me in an email. If you send me a photo(s) I can post them also.

Many of you may have your own websites or blogs. Let me know the URL's and I will add those links.

Keep those comments coming so everyone can enjoy them.

If I don't get a little more interest in this blog I may have to give it up or let someone else keep it up. Let me know if you stop by for a visit. Bill Echols whe100@yahoo.com

Just checking in

This blog looks like a lonely place as there have been few visitors. I'm going to keep it up until we have had our 50th year reunion which will be next summer. If you have any comments please send them to Bill Echols at whe100@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Next Class Reunion 2009

I think I'm talking to myself as no one ever reads what's on this blog. So again if anyone reads this please send me a note. We have about 15 months until the next reunion. Now is the time to start forming committees, planing the dates and making reservations. Bill E.
